Ole Rokvam

The works are a dialogue between past and present that reflects my thoughts, artistic development, technical dialogue and development with clay and firing techniques. The inspiration comes from architecture, old machines, mechanisms and existential questions, presented in the form of a container such as. tekanne. The work reflects the thought processes I go through. It is exciting to discuss how we as humans function; which processes man creates himself through. It is also reflected through the technical process the work between the different elements the work is composed of, in relation to how they work, there is a correspondence between intake, process and result. In that context, it has been natural for me to make jugs that hold on to "something" or in which a process takes place. If we search, we will find answers.
