Contemporary, Functional Ceramic Art Collection
Noriko Eki was born in 1971 in Yamaguchi Prefecture. She graduated from Joshibi University of Art and Design in 1993. In 2009, she built a kiln in Mashiko Town. The following year, she held her first solo exhibition at Moegi, which has since become an annual event.
In 2017, her work was featured in New Vessels at the Ibaraki Ceramic Art Museum. In 2018, she participated in Wish You Found It: Utsuwa Exhibition at the same museum, as well as A la Table at the Mashiko Museum of Ceramic Art. She also held solo exhibitions at Keio Department Store in both 2018 and 2019.
