Bethann Lloyd Worthington

Bethan set up her own business in 2006 after graduating after graduating with first class honours and distinction in three dimensional design from Manchester Metropolitan University. Her £11,140 scholarship enabled her to study for an ma in ceramics and glass at the royal college of art. Bethan works across drawing, installation, and objects, and designs and hand makes illustrated domestic tableware and wall pieces. She has gained considerable critical acclaim. Working with fine English bone china, Bethan hand paints each piece with delicate imagery, using the traditional method of fat-oil and turps. The haunting images convey a heartfelt sense of place as well as influences of nature. Bethan exhibits widely and was included in the British Ceramics Biennial and Somerset House.
